Delta Ultralight Moderators are an example of the science and technology of sound suppression & moderation taken to its optimum. Designed to be as light as possible whilst still retaining robustness and effciency.
Delta Ultralight Moderators are designed for threaded attachment to Firearms used for Stalking, Hunting and Pest Control purposes by the professional user or hobby enthusiast. Weighing as little as 175g to 220g an Ultralight Moderator will not negatively effect the balance and ergonomics of your rifle,  you will hardly notice the presence of the moderator until you fire the shot..

Aluminium is one of the key materials facing these challenges and we at Roedale are at the forefront of its use in Firearm Sound Moderators.
Advances in material technology within the Aerospace Industry have given the Firearms Industry scientists a head start. Optimised alloy chemistry and processing has given increased stress fracture toughness and resistance to wear, at Roedale Precision we have taken advantage of the advancement in material science and the raw material alluminium used in the manufacture of Delta Ultralight Moderators is a specialy made, high strength AlZnMgCu alloy. We took the step of having alloy specialy made exclusively to our specifications to achieve the exact properties we require for Moderator manufacture. This is our way to ensure constant quality of raw material, constant manufacturing processes and constant real world performance of the end product.
All Parts of the Delta Ultralight Moderators are CNC machined from solid bar stock raw material on our Gildemeister CTX400 machining centre.
All parts are Hard Anodised to 400HV ( around 41,7 Rockwell) ensuring maxumim resistance to wear and ultimate performance.
Delta Ultralight Moderators, like all the Delta Series are modular in design, the advantages of this design type are many. The Moderators are strippable, are upgradable and are easily repaired should a part be damaged or lost.
The designation in roman numerals dictates the number of blast baffle units contained within the suppressor body. It is possible to simply add additional blast baffle units to cope with calibers of higher gas volume. It is also possible to replace the first couple of baffle units with stainless steel in order to ensure suitable performance with high intensity magnum type calibers. This modular capability lets you tailor the suppressor to the exact use and requirement. Blast baffle units are available and sold separately as an accessory.

Delta Ultralight Moderators  are available with commonly found thread patterns.
We offer four as standard: 1/2"x20 UNF, M14x1 5/8x24 and M18x1.

Other threads such as 1/2x28 UNF, M15x1, 5/8x18 and M18x1.5 are available on request as are other specialty threads.

We do not recomend 1/2" threads on calibers larger than 6mm due to the fact that we consider the barrel wall thickness  insufficient when a 1/2" thread is applied to bore diameters larger than 6mm. If however you already have a 1/2“ thread on your .30 cal rifle, which seems to be common in the UK, you can still use a Delta Moderator, infact you are far better off with a lighter suppressor attached in such a case, as a heavy muzzle mounted Moderator could under certain circumstances have a detrimental effect on accuracy.
Delta Series Ultralight Moderators are designed for use on Stalking, Hunting and Pest Control type rifles in standard calibers and for occasional use. By occasional use we mean range sessions to check zero and the general shooting of game animals and vermin. Ultralight suppressors are not designed for high volume shooting range sessions or high intensity magnum calibers and certainly not semi automatic rifles. They are made entirely from the highest quality Aluminium and Hard Anodised matt black in colour. They Provide excellent performance in sound suppression & moderation and are one of the lightest and most compact suppressors currently available.
